Fic: Move on in the Dark (Sam/Dean)
Mar. 8th, 2009 07:27 amTitle: Move on in the Dark
Author:
cerberus_sky
Pairing: Sam/Dean
Rating: NC-17
Spoilers: None
Warnings: Angst, Darkfic, Evil Sam, Language, Mindfuckery (slight), S&M
Word Count: 9,129
Notes: This was meant to be a drabble-y little thing not much longer than 500 words. I totally, massively, unbelievably failed at that endeavor. lol I'm pretty pleased with it though.
Dean’s breath catches in his throat as the scene before him folds back like heavy velvet theatre draperies to show him something completely different. All he can do is stare in wide-eyed, wondering apprehension as the clearing transforms itself and the smell of burning flesh assails his nose. The first thing he sees is the giant bonfire in the center of the clearing, the earth so scorched that even the dirt that even looks burnt, sooty and crumbling. There are watch fires around the perimeter of the encampment, too and just beyond that, Dean is well aware of hulking, darting shapes lurking in the shadows, watching him. Waiting to see what he’ll do.
