Hey all you creative people out there.

It's Competition Time

The community is in need of an Evil!Sam header. We have a shiny new layout that I've snagged from tasha at premade_ljs.

I love the whole idea of fire in connection with Evil!Sam but that's just my own preference.

So, xphoenixrising and I got to talking and we thought it would be great if we had a Header Competition.

Entry is free to all and we thought it might be something for people to do over the Christmas period *g*. Other than eat, open presents, etc ...

Last day to sign up for the competition is Sunday 23rd December. Please comment here if you're going to be entering.

The closing date for entries is Sunday 20 January 2008 (seven weeks away).

The entries will be judged by the members of the community and there will be prizes for the top three entries. Not sure what they will be yet but there will be prizes.

Obviously the only proviso is that Sam should be somewhere in the header, because we are after all Evil!Sam *g*

So, get working. Hopefully we'll have some wonderful entries, otherwise you might end up with something I've made and that would be scary!!!

First: I think, even though graphics are not much my strongsuit, I am going to sign up. Yes. Yes, please to put my on the list, I'll totally make a header by... January 20th? Yeah, I can totally do that. *nod*

Second: I was wondering about size/format requirements? Should it be the same size as the current fire-tastic graphic above? Should it leave space where the buttons are currently? Does it need to have those curved edges? (I admit, that last I'm not sure how to do). Apologies if any of these questions are completely redundant, I just don't want to waste your time with a graphic that's formatted wrong.

Yay, so glad you signed up for this. I know next to nothing about graphics, which is probably why the post doesn't actually say what it should *g* I've asked my fellow mod, who's much more on the ball about these things to give you a better reply *g*

I just picked that particular layout because it's pretty, but it's definitely not set in stone. I'm busily hoarding layouts in my memories at the moment. Sigh!

Thats cool. I wasn´t sure because i could´t find a new post about the competition.

No, that's fine. The header and the layout that we have at present will be changed after the competition finishes. I'm going to be posting the new competition information on Thursday. I have heaps to post this week in the comm and I don't want the members to get inundated with too much *g*
